A few more bears

These two bears were the top boars at the "falls". Both are huge with the one estimated at 1400+, so the dark bear is close to that.

These bears are habituated to people being there as long as the people follow the rules. They aren't tame bears by any stretch of the imagination, just ask Tim T....he and his girlfriend were eaten not very far from here. That said, I was with 10 yards of them at times.

The last photo is a smaller bear but I like the photo of him.

That last one looks like he was getting annoyed. Wouldnt want to see that in the middle of no where

Used to people or not I think I would be taking pictures through a spotting scope ha ha. Great pics thanks for sharing

Pretty cool pics! There is NO way I would be 10 yards from them without a really thick piece of glass or some sort of fixture separating us that they wouldn't be able to get through.

Yeah, 10 yds. Would be a little to close for me, pretty sure something would be running down my leg, as my heart beat through my chest and ran off!

Thanks, Fortunately for me that last bear was either focused on a salmon or maybe the guy who was behind me with a shotgun! Even though he isn't the biggest bear, those claws still look formidable!!
