I have 8 points for antelope so I'm looking pretty good for this years draw. I put in with a friend and his God son last year and we drew area 9 and I kept my points(they had 0). The goal was to get the young hunter his first big game animal and we we successful. I have never seen anyone as happy as he was when I told him "He's down". I never fired a shot in 9 days and it was one of of my best hunts ever.
NOW, I'm looking for a good area for me to burn my points on a solo hunt and get a decent antelope.
Any suggestions, including private land connections would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Roger

You will have a great hunt with 8 points. I had 8 last year and had a great time. Look in the west of the state. Great numbers plenty of public ground. Good luck

Yea plenty of options with 8. I'd recommend using them rather than chase the super primo units and buying points for 5 more years.

You've got a lot of options with 8 points. I would try and find a unit with 80%+ public land. There are numerous units like this and all of them can be great hunts. Having lots of public land gives you much more flexibility and in WY if you look over enough country, you'll find good to great bucks.
