Looking more into a possible upcoming MT general season deer hunt in 2015 or 2016, one guy in our group brought up a possible lead on some private land in 310. Looked at the harvest stats, why so few deer killed there? Only 27 total deer. It looks like a small district, but that still seems like a tiny amount. Are there few deer? All private and unhunted? I was also surprised to see it was mostly whitetails. Curious on any insights into this unit, we know what one property we would be possibly hunting so not looking for spots at all, just wondering what we might find if we drive over from where we will more likely hunt in region 7.
