Anyone have some good loads or data using h4350? I want to use this powder and 168g e tips specifically to start. Id be happy with 3100fps as long as it's accurate. If they don't fly great I will probably try 180 accubonds.

Here is data from hodgdon web site.
I've looked at just about every source I can find using this powder, just trying to get real world data or experiences with the e tip as there's nothing I've found that is specifically for the 168 e tip. Nosler has pretty vague data in my opinion and they don't have this powder on their list which is odd, considering how many great reviews I've read of guys using it in their 300 wsm.

Every gun is different you need to start with a low charge and work your way up.

^^^^^^^This right here. You need to shoot them in your rifle to see what they will do. I have loads for all of my rifles that I am sure won't group worth a dang in other rifles. But each one of those loads was built up over time and a lot of shooting to find out what works best.

That is the fun of reloading. Coming up with a special load that you know shoots well and you have the confidence that your rifle will shoot it well. As for you shooting a 168 grain E Tip you never know. I have a rifle that hates Nosler Partitions and refuses to shoot them into a decent group. So I moved on to other bullets.

I hear ya, the e tip is just the one that I hope will work to my standards. If not, I'm certainly not afraid to try others.

I have been testing IMR 4064 (56, 58 , 60 Grains) with the 150 gr. Nosler CT silvertips. Trying to get things as close as possible to the factory Winchester 150 silvertips.

Those factory silvertips had a much higher velocity than what I am getting though....

I'm going to keep cranking things up (As long as things look safe) until I get the velocity that my silvertips shoot dial reads then I will start playing with the BOSS to try and tune the groups in. (I will probably end up around 60.5 grains to achieve that 3275 ish)

The only thing that is for certain is that I have a lot to learn still with reloading rifle shells.

Thats the nice thing about the BOSS. You can really expand and shrink groups once you get the velocity you want. My A-bolt can be tuned to just about any bullet. Dont know why they got rid of it. Maybe because it will deafen you without earplugs...lol

Good luck, I've got an A- bolt medallion in .243 with the boss but have never tinkered with it

I’m shooting the 180 gr interbond over 68gr on H4831sc. Muzzle Velocity is 2975. With groups at just under an inch

So I've been working on some loads and came across an issue that is really bothering me. Long story short, I got some so called once fired brass from another site that I have been working with.
Before I even fired any rounds I checked the few cases that I sized in my rifle to verify they'd chamber. Most did, while some did not. Some were snug. So after shooting every piece I had received, 60+, I turned around and started resizing them to continue load development. Now thinking they've all been shot in my rifle, all is good. Not quite. Some chamber just fine, others are a little snug, and a good amount are real tight. Im confused how the press can make some fit just fine and others not. Also, if I turn the die in a little more and resize again, it seems to only help a few of the snug cases. The die is a brand new rcbs. I just don't get it. Everything I've measured on the cases are spot on from what I can tell in the Lyman 50th that im following. Thinking I just need to buy new brass but not sure it'll solve my problem.

How are you sizing the cases? Full length or just bumping the shoulder?

Are all the cases the same make or are they a assortment of brands?

It's all Winchester. To be honest I guess I didn't really understand the difference between the two as I thought I've been full length sizing since it's a full length sizing die. I've followed the rcbs instructions to go 1/4 turn in after it touches the shell holder. I've also tested it without turning it in at all and can see on the cases that just the neck gets sized. So it's after 1/4 turn that some cases would fit better but others not. Should I go farther with it then as I've been apparently been mostly bumping the shoulder? I don't have a gauge to check that they are at saami spec at any given point.

So basically when you get anything but new brass that hasn't been fired in your gun, you should full length size it? Thus, by turning in the die even further? Is that correct? Maybe im wrong idk lol

Check your sizing die. Make sure it is a full length sizing die. If it is a neck sizer it will say "neck". The only other thing I'd do is check OAL of the sized case. If it is too long, it could be dragging on the end of the chamber.
