Nice mess of guppies!

Just curious if cutting their throats like that makes them a PITA to fillet?

I do that with walleye's to bleed them out but not crappie.

I'm pretty good with a fillet knife never had a problem

We use electric knives to do most of ours. I juts never cut them that way.

Is that why you do that? To bleed them out?
