2016 Wyoming Archery Whitetail Down

I was fortunate enough to take this very nice Wyoming velvet buck on September 2, 2016 with my Hoyt from the ground. I initially had him at 5 yards and had to wait for him to get out to 30 before I drew my bow and sent the arrow! It's my first full velvet buck and I took him the day after my 30th birthday!

I go out every year since I have friends in the area I hunt! I also hunt Indiana, but our season doesn't start until October 1st, which is why I take the opportunity to start hunting a month early when I can! Sometimes a guy just has to fling some arrows!
