What a awesome hunt! Jason, Joe, Susan and Erick are some amazing people that I now call friends.
The dogs worked their tails off for us by treeing bears with the first race at 15 miles! The second was less miles but this beautiful bear jumped tree 3 times but those dogs would tree it again. When we got to the last tree it was huge! Probably the biggest tree in this jack knife canyon. As we all looked at the bear and discussed about how old it was even though a bit small I couldn't help but to take a minute and and enjoy what had taken us to this moment. The dogs, the gorgeous canyon we where in, the dogs barking, great new friends and and the bear way up in this tree it just felt rite. I couldn't pass this bear up everything was to perfect.
