Well, it is that time of year again....goal setting!

My fitness goals for the year are to:

Drop down to 210lbs

Run a half marathon, and all the training that is involved.

Lift 3 times a week consistently all the way to September when hunting season starts.

What are your goals?

Seeing that I have gained 30 lbs since my daughter was born 2.5 years ago, my goal is to lose that 30 lbs and get back into my football playing shape (6'4" 250lbs, 10% bf).

Having my 6 pack showin. Started this goal in October and already can see 2 sets now so I am getting there

So 6 pack
Be able to bench a plate and more (can do 125-130 right now)

Otherwise it's just to keep improving in muscle gain and cardio fitness.

About the same here!

I want to bench 225 6-8 times and 3 sets as a final goal. Repping 165 now. Hope to rep my weight by summer 190. I'd like to Squat 200, real squats from the floor. Love to keep increasing deadlift but I'm always careful about overdoing this one. Keep the cardio going.

When I started I was 178-182 and I'm 192-4 now. I guessing it's muscle since I can see physical transformation. Going to try harder dropping the gut weight and eat better.

My main goal is to be physically healthy and make this a lifestyle change. I quit chewing tobacco back in April but relapsed during May and totally quit in June and working out was part of the overall lifestyle change. Good luck everyone

I only want to drop about 7 more lbs. I have lost 20 over the past few years of working out. I do want to work on my upper body a little more this year. Also want to do more trail running than I did last year. Still working on the diet thing and this time of year doesn't help much but I have been pretty good about what I eat.

Win a 2nd National P.L. title
Run 1/2 marathon

(Tuff to do since these goals are at opposite ends of the spectrum)

My goal is to drop 10-20 lbs, at least 30 min. On stair master with ease and break 100 from the blue tees on the golf course! All that should get me ready for my B.C. Hunt in Sept. Oh ya continue with my work out routine everyday, I was benching 245 10 times last set but hurt my shoulder. Now I'm just lifting lighter. Beware as we get older.

Another round of PT on the ankle today. Everything is progressing well ahead of schedule. Lots of range of motion, very little pain and no swelling. I am now 7 weeks after surgery. Looks like I will be able to get back to the gym in Feb. Lots of time to get ready for hunting this fall.... Yipeeeee!!!

Fun to read everyone's goals. I tore my achellies in June and am determined to run a half this year.

Having limited mobility for 6 months really has me wanting to run, something i don't love.

My goal is to drop and keep off 20 lbs. I would like to keep it at 220 lbs. Also increase my cardio conditioning and continue weightlifting. Eat better is also near the top of the list.

2009 was my first year out west hunting. I was 310 lbs at 6'6 that might not sound to bad. But I was wearing a 4XL shirt & 44 pants. since then I have made it down as low as 219 (xl shirt, 36 pants) That was 2013. It is now Jan 2015 and I'm wieghing in at 240. Time to get back at it. Starting a Paleo challenge at my gym. I am shooting for 210 by Sept for my first elk hunt. Going to be doing crossfit , running, hiking with a pack. I'll try to keep updates coming.
