Went and scouted my opening day spot this morning, and 3 back ups. Put a little over 500 miles on the truck today. C'mon Tuesday!!!

We are about 3 weeks out here yet to.

Good looking bird, tell your boys congrats. I need to get out there this year......been so busy chasing coyotes I forgot about the turkeys.

Took my son out last weekend for youth weekend, but no birds. Did some scountin since our normal area didn't pay off and found us some new ground. General season opens the 15th so we're both headed out again. Good luck to everyone.

I was out at the gun range near me yesterday, checking out my rifle for a pig hunt in a couple weeks and the turkeys came down strutting right to the range with guns blaring. It's pretty funny actually but it's a good success story here for the state. Their numbers have grown and it is hard not to see them this time of year without even calling them in my part of the state.
