I've been trying to find out why Eastman's list trophy quality for 120 higher than 125 when 125 is a lot harder to draw. Talking to the biologist for those areas he said 125 was better. I also looked at the MRS from 2009 on and they list 125 trophy as good up until 2013 after that marginal. Area 120 was listed as good all those years.
I can easily draw 120 with my 5 points but only have a 50% chance to draw 125. Any info on those areas would be appreciated, Looking for a 160 class buck.
Thank you

Fish, looks like there's 42 hunters in Area 120 with 64% success. You can't hunt The Rez, so most your hunting would be off 170 (Owl Creek Rd) or on the south side of West Cotton Wood. Probably why the biologist is steering you away.

If I had time to scout I'd go 120, if I didn't I'd go 125. Rut mule deer hunts are always fun hunts! Good luck!
