Finally starting to get excited about this hunt. Went back and looked at videos and photos of deer we took duing the early bull hunt last year. Anybody been over there this year? Was there much winter kill? And if you've got the bull tag pm me ill be there the week before your hunt and knowing the guys im going with we will probably be looking at bulls more then deer. Ill have to see if that 360-370 bull made it through the year.
111-113 late deer

I saw some big bucks in 111 late in the 2016 season. The wife and I were sitting and glassing a Canyon and heard horns crashing together. I thought it was elk but once I got to there the sounds were coming from they were bucks.

These hunts start soon. Pray for cold weather! 78 in Reno Tomorrow. No bueno. It will be colder on that side of the state but still 60's mid day will prove to be slow.
Leaving on Sunday to head to elk camp. We always see some nice bucks. I'll hit you guys up that are looking while I'm there if I see a good one.

Slow hunting lows in the 40s and windy. No rut activity from the big ones yet. Passed 150ish deer first morning here 1/2 hour into hunt but have turned up anything else of size. Only have seen 2 bulls nothing to get excited about there either. But having a good time
