Hey guys, well I got a cow elk tag for 104, 108, and 121 and would like to know info about units 104/108 so I can start scouting. I just want to know where to start since i'm dealing with a huge area. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have the muzzy bull tag. When I was down there scouting, every water source had elk track around it. All the guzzlers had blinds on them, but some of the more secluded sources did not. These secluded sources had the most elk sign.

I've seen a bull and cows near the gold mine in 108 in the burned area. You see horse droppings in the road so you know there is water nearby.

Well after waking up at 3 am for 5 days i finally harvested a cow elk. We hiked a lot saw many big bulls but no cows. Today we found a waterhole and we put the spotting scope to use and found us two cows. We sneaked in through the junipers and i got about 350 yards from them, and put a nice shot through the boiler room. Hardest hunt ive been on to this day but it was all worth it especially since my dad was by my side through it all

Congratulations! I'm new to hunting Nevada and reading every page of this forum. So cool to have a great hunt with your dad.

Congrats to you on a successful hunt. It's always so much more rewarding to hunt with family. Which unit did you end up finding your cow? It's ok if you would rather not say.

Thanks guys.
@Gr8bawana I got her in unit 108. The amount of bulls in 108/121 is crazy. After harvesting the cow we saw about 6 bulls near the road on our way back to Eureka. They probably ranged about 320-350.
