I pulled a cow tag for spruce Mt this year and haven't had the chance to hunt that area only the Ruby's for mule deer. If anyone has any good advise i would appreciate it. Due to military training I wont be able to start hunting till the last week of season and doubt ill get a chance to scout...

I just pulled a cow elk tag for unit 078 in Nevada. I haven't hunted this area before and just wondered if anyone had any advise. I am planning a Aug scouting/camping trip but could use any advise.
