How did your Sunflowers do?
They grew well but the deer ate 99.9% of them. Which is 100% ok. They just ate the tops out of them as fast as they could grow.

That winter rye abruizi grew back in thick and overtook what the deer didn’t eat.
I will say though that I’m certain that those sunflowers provided a lot of nutrition for the deer!
I have 4 does and 5 fawns in my front yard this evening!

the millet grew very well this year. I’m gonna spray it and burn it in a few weeks. Ready for dove season!!!

Sounds like 1 doe had twins. See any with triplets. We planted clover last fall and have 2 does with triplets. Good food sorce makes a huge difference

I think we have either 2 does with twins and 1 doe with one fawn. OR 1 doe with triplets and 1 with twins. Its really hard to tell because its just one big massive wad of deer every time they come into the yard.

I know for sure the one do has twins because I saw them nursing and I highly doubt that she would let another fawn nurse that was not hers??

Catching the coyotes out of here really helped. I still have my traps out but I have not caught a coyote all summer (Which is a good thing).
