I have 2 replacement knees too. My advice is the bigger the better. I bought some off of a military clothing/supplies site that I like pretty well. Straps have velcro instead of snaps or buckles. They are camo too and look military style or surplus items.

Your problem is that you are just going to have to try them and see if you like them.

I got some cheepo's at Harbor Freight and the straps just didn't work for me. I got them for doing work around the house and yard. My last pair came from Ace Hardware, but I haven't used them that much to tell if I really like them or not.

I wore my knees out climbing poles, and ladders. Not to mention crawling around in crawl spaces. Now I think twice before I even get down on my knees. But for around the house I picked up a couple of knee pads at HF. But they would be worthless hunting.

Klein makes some real nice ones that have gel inside
I ordered a set of Klein Knee Pads and they are the best I have ever used. I have 2 replacement knees and working on my knees is not easy. I would recommend these as they allow me to work on my knees with a minimum amount of discomfort.

Thanks for recommending them!
