I am curious what everyones take on moon phase in relationship to elk hunting success is. My own personal experience is low success with a full moon. What does moon phase do to elk during the rut. I would think it would have less of an impact. Lets hear your take on the subject!

Does anyone know how many non res prefer points it would take to draw a general tag on a second choice?

What is your plan for for elk do you hunt every year or only when you can draw a tag in a great area? I like to hunt every year so I apply where I have a good chance of drawing. The years I don't draw I get a cow tag for the area we hunt. Lets here everones strategy.
