My grandpa hunted around Taylor Mesa a lot back in the early 80's and had a lot of success on decent 5 and 6 point bulls. I am looking into this area for this year and would love any help/info as this will be my first elk hunt.

Starting research for going to Colorado on a backcountry mule deer hunt next year and looking for any info on these two units. Any info is much appreciated. PM me if you don't want your info out there for everyone to see. Never killed a mule deer and just looking for a nice 4 point. Thank you!
