Born in Oakland, Ca and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area as a young kid. Moved to Fortuna, Ca and lived with my grandmother in 1975 at 15yrs old so I could hunt and fish with my uncles. Joined the USMC out of high scool and ended up El Toro MCAS in Southern California. Married in 1980. Moved to Riverside County in 1982. Hunted deer, quail, coyotes, and ground squirrels in Southern Calfornia for 18 years. Moved to Arizona in 1999. Took up archery because rifle tags are so scarce. I have taken blacktail, southern mule deer, and whitetail deer, gambels and valley quail, gray squirrels, grouse, duck, pheasant, various varmits, and finally this year, an elk. With my job, I can work wherever there is an internet connection so for the past couple of years I have spent month on end during the late summer, fall, and winter in my RV scounting and hunting.
