Born and raised in California and have been big game hunting in California since age 18. I missed about 5 years of BG hunting when I married y wife in 2005. Prior to that, I hunted Wyoming twice, Colorado, Utah, and Idaho....All unsuccessful (except Colorado where I killed a spike Elk). I feel like I'm jinxed. I even drew a coveted tag in California this year (X9A), hunted hard and was unsuccessful. I'm ready to step up my game to hunt out of state more and change my luck. I have one Preference point in Nevada and hope to start accumulating more as time goes on. I need to learn where I can draw a descent tag now to give myself a chance while I accumulate points.
