Just looking for a little expert advise...what would be the minimum broadhead weight for elk for both compound and crossbow...any input appreciated..september is coming quick

Larry Walker from West central indiana...I have hunted all my life...58 yrs old..have deer and turkey hunted all over the midwest and south..Several fishing trips thru the yrs to ontario....Love the rockies..Got to hunt elk in idaho in frank church wilderness of no return...over the counter...

Any help/advise would be appreciated,,,I probly will be hunting archery only,,,more than likely DIY,,,,cant afford an outfitted hunt but I can stay the entire month of September if needed... What areas should I look at that would be pretty much a slam dunk draw with 11 pp,,,with good...
