Hunted unit 38 in colorado for 2 weeks seen 3 does and 2 bucks in 2 weeks. We covered 100's of miles from boulder to central city to st Mary glacier and 5 deer. Did see about 500 hunters and 15+ elk. I guess it's Murphys law if you have a deer tag you see elk if you have an elk tag you see deer...

Headed back up to northwest colorado. How is the rut going? Any bugles at all? Chased around a monster 7x7 opening weekend but hoping they are bugling. Anyone hunting the northwest side of unit 11 or southwest side of unit 3? Feel free to PM me.
