    Deer bullets for a .243

    I have to say in My 6mm Remington Remington 700 BDL likes Hornadys 100gr BTSP is one very accurate bullet groups average under 2.25 inches at 300 yds & I would not be afraid to shoot at any Antelope to 600 yds & Deer to 500 yds. This is a Deer shot with 6mm Rem.

    Son's First Deer

    We hunted in Iowa first shotgun season. We hiked in 7/8 of a mile after crossing two creeks. Weather was -2F winds 5-10 MPH which made for a cold morning on the stand. We both saw some smaller bucks & 30+ does & had our deer shot by 9:00am then the work dragging them out.
