We'll see this year; my wife's due date is April 21st and the OTC archery only season out here starts May 8th and runs through May 21st. I really want to whack one with my bow but it might be really pushing my familial boundaries...

I love killin turkeys. Here's me and a buddy's first foray into filming a hunt. You can hear him tell me to not get trigger happy.. A few days before, I killed a bird before he barely had the camera rolling. As you can see... I didn't really oblige, again.

April 15 to May 15 that's our spring season here Region 4 British Columbia. By far and away my favourite spring hunt. I've been out a few times checking up on a couple of flocks I've been chasing(unsuccessfully; close and exciting just not close enough) the last two seasons and they seem to have survived the winter just fine. I'll be hunting them every weekend until I connect or the season ends, whichever comes first and then it's on to spot and stalk black bear and some backpack hunting in the alpine. I'm looking forward to it.

DIY with trespass fee. Only allowed 1 tom on the private so I may try some nearby public if im lucky enuff to get 1 on private.

This is going to be my third year with a tag and first to try with a bow. I am pretty excited for the season to swing around. No better thing then a strutting tom in the field.
