I bought a Canon 90d and use either a 100-400 or a 70-200 f2.8. If the photo is poor...it's not my camera's fault!

I do use manual at times. Right now I have the focus set as a back button, Auto ISO and set my shutter speed where I want it. For the pheasant is was 1/2000.
It's fun trying new settings.

I sure miss seeing and hearing the Pheasants here. Used to be quite a few, but the skunks, foxes, raccoons and hawks have just about wiped them out. Had several hens nest on my place, but have only seen one rooster in the last 2 years. Love to hear the roosters squawking in the Spring during mating season.
