Does anyone have any info about bow hunting Wyoming? I'm trying to find a few units to bow hunt mule deer in. Hope to find some units that I can find solid deer in (150-160) and maybe run into a giant (170-180) every few years.

If you're not familiar with Wyoming, it has some archery only tags for elk, but very few for deer. You normally have to put in for the regular draw and if you are lucky enough to draw the tag you can then buy an archery permit for $30 to hunt the early bow season along with the regular rifle season later on if the tag isn't filled. For a good bow hunt for deer you'll probably want to hunt down in the high country of Regions G or H in the southwest part of the state. It will take some Preference Points (PPs) to draw a tag so you'll want to buy one for $40 while they're on sale until 9/30. Then start applying next Spring and buying a PP each year until you get drawn.

I had picked up a PP this year but wasnt sure we're to put in for mule deer. Do you know anything about units 84 or 120?

Both are good units, but it took 5PPs to draw the 6 or 7 NR tags that were issued in the regular draw this year in them, so that sort of puts you out of the running unless you really lucked out and drew a tag in the random draw that everyone is in after the other draws are completed
