Well I had an opportunity to punch my tag way earlier than I ever have before this year! I had this buck at 26 yds last Wed and he would not present me with a shot I was willing to take so I let him walk, hunted Thursday night and saw nothing, went back out and sat in my oaks Sat night and this guy came out on the trail I needed him to. Almost like he read my mind. He walked thru my first shooting lane at 25yds and I stopped him, well he took 1 too many steps and vitals were behind a tree, a couple mins later he walked in closer and gave me a picture perfect broadside shot at 15 yds, and the rage did the rest of the work from there. Ran maybe 40 yds and heard him crash. Ive never gotten a pic of a buck with even one drop tine let alone 2, THEN to even think I had a chance at him. But I got er done. My son was totally stoked when I told him I got him, now hes pumped for the youth hunt in 2 weeks! Life is good. Luke
