Unit 24

Hey everyone! Just drew unit 24 first season tag. Any info or knowledge would be great! Maybe what elevation is best to stick around? Was planning on staying in the northern part of the unit!

first ,I will say ,welcome to the forums. jump in and have some fun.


if you drew a deer tag ,I would go where the deer are.
if you drew an elk tag ,I would go where the elk are.

they could be at any elevation. it may vary depending upon what time of year your hunt is .

best info I could give you is , don't expect much help until folks get to know you a bit . and never expect others to tell you WHERE to hunt. that type info comes by trial and error. once folks get to know you and decide they like you , they MIGHT be willing to point you in the general direction but honey holes are not going to be forthcoming.

also it is tough to even offer knowledge when so little info is given.
what species are you hunting ? male or female of said species???
what weapon are you using?
what time of year?
these are important things anyone wishing to help you would need to know
