I am elk hunting in co this year and I need to get both a tripod for shooting and a tripod for glassing with my binos. My question is, is there a tripod that can double as a shooting stick and as a tripod that can be used for glassing with my binoculars? I know they make an adapter where you can connect most binos to tripods that are meant for spotting scopes, but is there a shooting tripod that will take one of these adapters so that I don't have to buy 2 seperare sets of sticks?

Bog-pod makes what I think you seek. I have only used it for a rifle rest, not tripod for glassing. But others have. I know it was talked about in another thread here too.
