Stock Rental in New Mexico?

In anticipation of drawing NM elk this year, i am hoping i can find someone in NM that rents out stock the way they do in CO and WY. I own horses but I prefer to use animal that are used to that terrain and climate and i lean away from hauling our trailer, tack and stock that far....

Do any of yall know of locations that rent anywhere in NM? I would haul the trailer if i need to, and be willing to drive well beyond the hunt area to pick them up... I am considering rental in CO but i need to look into crossing state lines and what permits i need for another man's horses...

Yes you will need paperwork for taking a horse across state lines but the place you are renting from will get the paper work for you for a fee. Just let them know your taking their horses out of state so they have the proper time to do so. They may even have stock trailers for rent so you don't have to haul yours cross country.
