The Sierra Club sent me five gray wolf pictures and one of the notes read; When the Department of the Interior last removed Endangered Species Act protection for gray wolves in the Northern Rockies, the result was massive wolf hunts that killed nearly 200 of these majestic animals--including the entire Cottonwood Pack of Yellowstone National Park.
They are still at it.

how many wolves are in the US/lower 48? actual number.... or close estimate? not released #s from the states...or greatly lower estimates...

ie MT says 500 and there's really 25,000 sort of thing...

feel free to share both #'s, reported vs. actual/probable.

Ca. Fish and Game has such a sad story about a lone wolf in No. Cal. That crosses back in forth from Or. Number whatever. Or. Has wolves ? They have been stocking them in Wy, Id, Mt,Wa, Or,Co, Az, Mn, Mi,Wi, and who knows where else.i think Ut. Also. USFS with your tax dollars is making sure wolves are reintroduced to all their historical range. No matter the complications . BS! 3 S tags are free ! Don't Tread On Us comes to my mind ...
