I walked up on a couple whoppers in Colorado a few years back in the dark.
They had NO fear of me. AT ALL.

Walked by one at 15 yards this week in the snowies. Never ceases to amaze me how big they are.
I was sitting earlier that day and looking across the canyon at around 500 yards I see what appears to my naked eye to be a black SUV drive out of a clump of trees, nope just a moose.

We saw them camping in the summer of '17 in the Medecine Bow NF and I saw a real corker of a bull while elk hunting in the same forest later that year in October and also a smaller, yet very respectable bull. Magnificent beasts.

That's awesome. I ran into a couple bulls a week or so ago here in NE Nevada. I was unable to get the much needed pictures as my cousin was in a hurry to get closer to a bull elk we seen a long ways away.
