NRA Board of Directors

I have a friend on another forum who managed to get his name onto the ballot for the NRA Board of Directors.

He is a down to earth type of person and managed to get onto the ballot by drumming up support the old fashion way by getting signatures on a petition instead of depending on the nominating committee.

His name is John Richardson and wants to get the NRA back to what it once was. His name is #40 on the ballot

He is the only one that I have ever had any interactions with, and I have never met him.

But I read his mission statement on the petition that he started up to get onto the ballot and I liked it.

The problem with the NRA like most other large companies or organizations is that they work on the good old boy network. In order to get onto the ballot you need to know someone to nominate you that is already on the board.

But the way that I see it we need to start somewhere if we want change. He may not be able to do much but at least he is willing to give it a try.

I believe in the NRA but I can't stand the constant bombardment asking for more and more.

To finish this one off, John got enough votes to be placed on the board. Overall the reform group got 19 onto the board out of the 28 that ran.
