Looks like they have changed the policy on refunding the license and stamp fees this year. So it will cost you $87 dollars as a non-resident if you don't draw a tag?

Thats a big change for me. I was only applying in NM because it was cheap. I already have states that I buy that non-res hunting license.

With the poor odds in NM I may stop applying. Not sure how much the draw odds will increase with this change.

Plus I'm not sure about any over the counter options or general tags in NM to use that license on. Does anyone have info on this?

Bear, mountain lion, barbary and private land tags are available OTC.
