I drew 16b wilderness nm tag this year with a few friends.looking for general info and possibly a packer to drop camp us and take out elk if we kill.never been in this area before don't know what to expect.

look in the NM forum, there was a drop camp thread about that unit. You're a lucky dog... lots of fun out there, lots of bugling bulls and lots of work. That's my fav spot in NM or pretty much anywhere I've been.

You might want to try Becky Campbell. I was looking at her if potentially drew last year. I think the pack in is $600 per person and $500 per elk. You might want to call her and ask. She is the only one I found to offer this unless San Francisco River Outfitters would do it for you.

I think 505 outfitters does drop camps, etc. I have been doing research on Gila units too. Good luck

Call TOm Klunker with San Francisco Outfitters. They know that unit better than anyone. If he cant pack you in, his daughter packs a few folks in. Awesome country, congrats on the draw.
