My New Gun Shooting Great

I bought a new 6.5PRC Bergara Carbon Ridge Wilderness last month. Put a Ziess V4 6x24 scope on it, and also EC Tuner Muzzle Brake. My buddy and myself loaded up some loads and it likes the Hornady 147 grain ELD Match bullets with 52.5 grains of Hodgdon 4831SC. The first plate is my two shot group at 713 yards. The second plate is 1026 yard two shot group. The wind was 8-10 mph from the SW. Very pleased with the results. I don’t shoot at animals that far but will shoot at steel.

Since its hard to find primers and the price of powder that’s all I could afford

I hear that. I just loaded up about 50 .243 rounds this evening and it wasn’t cheap!

Primers are pretty available around here. Last week at our local Big R store I bought 1000 small pistol primers for $78.00. They had plenty of all sizes.
