Looking for covers or ideas for an old Leupold 20X60 spotting scope

Hi,
I have an old (like me), but very nice 20X60 Leupold spotting scope. It's a great light weight scope but I have no lens covers for it.
The eye piece is 35 mm and the objective is 68 MM. I cannot find them any place. Any ideas on a source or thoughts on how to build them (Inner-tube and duct tape?) would be appreciated.
I have a tag for X-2 in CA and I like to be prepared to bushwhack if necessary. And I'd rather not lug my 15-45X65 Zeiss and tripod.

Might consider a fabric bag. Or try photo places, like this one: https://lenscoat.com/ I'd guess if you called them or a similar place with your measurements, you'll find caps that will work.

I lost a lens cap to a B&L elite spotter a few years back, got a new one from B&L for $3-4 as I recall. I was lucky.

Call Leupold customer service and see what they might have.

Other than that see if any of your fishing friends have a old pair of neoprene waders that you can cut up.

I did cal Leupold and talk to them and they do not have anything. An old set of waders or a wet suit would be perfect. I'll google a source for neoprene.

Ive wondered about using a neoprene rifle scope cover for my spotting scope.

If you can find one that fits.

Spotting scopes are usually a little bit larger than a rifle scope and the old one size fits all sometimes doesn't work. But it might.

You might look at Vortex's site, click on spotting scopes, then accessories they sell neoprene spotting scope covers straight and angledwith remove able front and rear covers! Just an idea. Good luck

OP/TECH spotting scope cover is what I just ordered for my 25X50 Leupold. Do not have it yet, but for the cost it was worth a shot.

Got the cover last night and my wife installed it on our scope. Fits good, we got the small camo unit, and should offer some protection.
