ok, so I know I gave the attack pants a sour review last year. I think 90% of that was due to how long I had to wait to actually get them in the mail. I am very skeptical of pretty much everything I buy. yes, threads began pulling on them, but really not that big of a deal. I wore them last week while shed hunting and I covered some ground, I have to say that I kept thinking how comfortable they were! it was one of those days that was partly sunny with lots of passing clouds and when clouds were covering the sun it got cold and windy but when sun popped out it was darn right hot, the vents in these pants and the breathability was awesome and very welcomed. im thinking of upping to the guide pants but prob just another pair of attacks and a zip hoodie.

Ivory, I knew you'd come around:) they are by far the best pants, I do have the heavier pants with knee pants which are warmer when the temps drop.

I like them so much I have three pair. The oldest pair I wear to work all the time, guys at work think I'm crazy wearing such an expensive pant to work. I have a hard time wearing any other pants now.

The attack pants are my favorite! Early on I was a little worried due to all the snags from blackberry vines, but even though they snag, it doesn't seem to go any farther or hurt performance. If I look back at photos from the last 3 or 4 years, my one pair of attacks are what I'm wearing in every season, spring-winter. The only time you can't see them is when my packable rain pants are over them.

I really want to upgrade my gear. I've been looking hard into Sitka but I keep going back and forth between Kuiu and Sitka. Do you guys have any opinions with comparisons in general?

they have a new youth line, I think that is cool. you wouldn't have to wait half of a year to get them either. I have yet to fork down the money for Sitka yet though. I think ill get the pants for my sons first year out though:)

The kuiu pant is thicker and less breathable then the sitka but the kuiu pants are better in the brush. Both pants fit like skinny jeans if you have big thighs. The sitka is more tapered in the legs then kuiu. I don't like the side pocket flaps on the kuiu they are sewn down and it's hard to get anything out of them. The front pockets on both pants have a felt material for a liner I dislike this material it just holds sweat my phone get soaked with sweat every time it's in the front pocket. I'm not trying to bash these pants but they both have hood and bad thing with them.

IKIC I have a pair of Sitka pants, the tan ones, I seldom wear them mainly because they aren't as comfortable to me. The brown and grey that Kuiu offer are one of the main reasons I like them, if they didn't offer solid colors I would have never bought them. I do like the vented side zippers on the attacks too, my Sitka don't have that option. My fist pair are over two years old and have some wear holes on the inside at the bottom but still in good shape otherwise and I wear them all the time. I can't say how long the Sitka last but I'm impressed with the attack.if you only wear them hunting you should expect several years out of a pair.

I have five or so pairs of the KUIU attack pants in camo for hunting and the solid colors for urban wear. Very comfortable pants for sure. My legs run hot so I actually like the newer lighter weight and cooler KUIU Tiburons better...

I have and have bought around 10 pairs of Kuiu Attack pants for myself and my family. Great pants. I've always had large thighs and the fit in the thigh has always been quite comfortable for me.

Before Kuiu I was using Arcteryx pants.
