How many days will you be in the field this year, off grid, in what you consider "backcountry"? I know the definition of that has some of room for interpretation but I want to see how many days you guys are planning to hunt this year?

With Wyoming tags coming out I should know what my schedule will be like very soon.

Right now I am sitting at 25 days of the 31 possible hunting days I have tags for. Once I find out about controlled hunts in ID that number may go up a smidgen or it may go down a smidgen. I typically try to save some vacation for Christmas time and chuckar hunting with my GWP.

At least 6 days, maybe as many as 12 if I can swing it and I don't tag out opening day haha. I'll have 2 deer tags and a bear tag. I rarely spend more than 2 nights in a row in the backcountry, being a newly wed and all.

Going to take a week off work to elk hunt in September, will be hunting out of my RV. Other than that it will be weekend bow hunting for deer. May take a couple days off in November to hunt Blacktails down south if I still have a tag, nothing too back country this year.

I have 7 days in September where there will be no cell service, no roads, the only running water is from gravity, and the options for transportation are my boots or on a mule. A day of driving on both ends of 7 days, but those don't count as hunting time.

We will be in the high country for 7-10 day on a Nv Mountain Goat hunt. It's going to be a blast! I haven't been on a real pack in hunt in a few years and I am very excited to go.

We plan to be "off the grid" for 16 days straight during rifle season. While we are staying in our camper during the entire time, we will be 30 miles down a dirt road from the nearest small town. During archery season well be off the grid every weekend and maybe a couple extra days during the week

We will be elk hunting the first 5 days of the archery season then back out for the last 16 days of the season. Then we will have 9 days to deer hunt. Unfortunately those are the only tags we drew.

Not so sure how to define backcountry. Gravel roads and bad cell phone reception? Ten days each in Wyoming and South Dakota. How many of those spent living out of packs will depend on weather, critters, and how tough we feel.
