I purchased a GoPro3+ Black edition a few weeks ago. Right out of the bag I decided to try the time lapse feature while I was working on a deer. I used 5mp and 5 second intervals. I simply uploaded it to the GoPro studio and did 24fps output for the images. My battery died (forgot to charge it, idiot mistake) so I didnt get the whole process, which makes the timelapse video a little more choppy than it should have been. Next time I will change the intervals to see if it makes the transitions smoother.

I have since used it to video some hiking with our new baby, I just havent made time to put a clip together.

All in all I really like it. I use the iPhone app, which makes it super simple to use, but the wifi drains the battery quicker. I am in the process of adapting a bracket to my Black Diamond poles to use this fall hunting and hiking.

Anyone else use the GoPro? Other than you cannot get an optical zoom right out of the box I like it. Perfect for documenting your adventures I think.

I found more frequent shots gives a better result. Also I'd turn down the resolution in a static shot like you have here. If it's outdoors I'd keep the resolution high. Just some ideas. Liked the video!

That's pretty cool man. I want to get into more time lapses. I want to do one of my 3 year old son doing a puzzle. That kid can do just about any puzzle you throw at him! Faster than my wife or I can do them too.
