Getting Logged Off Forum

I leave myself logged on when I leave the forum. Makes it a lot easier when returning later, don't have to enter user name and pass word. A couple of days ago my computer started logging me off when I leave. I did not change any setting or anything else that I know of. Anyone else have this happening?

How do I fix it. I have Windows 7 Pro.

Hasn't happened to me yet. Do you clear your browsing history every now and again? If so, some of the setting when clearing the history will also clear the cookies that keep you logged in.

Happens to me too after about 30 minutes of inactivity. I have internet explorer as well.

If you go to internet options under the tools tab, make sure the "delete browsing history on exit" is not checked under the general tab. This will also log you off if it is checked.

The thing is that I am on a couple of other sites and it does not happen there and didn't happen here until a couple of days ago! Strange

That IS strange, maybe ScottR has a solution.

That is a setting somewhere in Internet Explorer. Try the history suggestion and see if that works.

There may be further settings within IE that allow you to decide which websites it saves your password for. In all honesty I would switch to Chrome, much easier to use.

Seems like I fixed it, deleted Google Chrome, now everything seems fine.

Still working fine and a lot faster too! Go figure...............
