I have done a bunch of filming over the years but was never really satisfied with any of my cameras. I was finally able to put video setup together that I am happy with. Ended up getting a Canon XA35, Rode NGT1 mic and a Varizoom lance control for tripod or camera arm hunting.

Yeah I am really liking the camera. I am still getting used to all the functions. This was some of the first footage I shot before I put on the Rode Mic. The Rode has much better sound quality and you cant here the wind near as bad. You also don't hear the camera noise from the zoom.

If you can watch it in HD the footage is really clear.
