Plan is to lime and fertilize early this week and plant by the weekend. I use a variety of products from Whitetail Institute and I’ve always had great success.

Sounds about right. From time to time, I help a couple of my archer buddies with all that; along with pruning shooting lanes, putting up game cameras; retrieving memory sticks. Its that time of the yr.👍

mustang,
Look for products that require little sunshine to grow. There are several products that work well where only 2-3 hours of sunlight or limited amount of light shines through due to canopy cover. Whitetail Institute offers a few products. 3rd year for me and all plots have done well with the exception of 1, but I didn't have time to properly prep and rushed it in.

In the shaded areas I found that durana worked pretty well. It keeps it from burning up. Once the stuff roots its pretty good clover.
