My Dad has enough points to finally draw an area 61 1st season bull tag. I hear a lot of good things about this unit but have never been there.
If drawn, he and I will spend one or two long weekends scouting over the summer and then show up several days before season opens.
My concerns are:
1----With the late start of the 1st rifle season, have all the big boys moved off??
2----With the 110+ cow tags and the 110+ bull tags, is the pressure just too much??
3----Is a 330+ bull a legitimate goal??
I would appreciate any advice from anyone familiar with the area. My Dad has 11 preference points, the last thing we want to do is waste them!
