I drew area 40 muzzleloader tag. Never put an eye on it before. Plan on parking my butt and glassing for a mature buck. I have all season to hunt and explore. I have a few ideas on where to start but open to suggestions

Lot of luck to you, you are going to need it. The unit is mostly private and access is hard to get but there is public which could be packed with other hunters.
There are a couple of members on here that are familiar with that unit and hopefully they will see this and give you a hand.

I have spent a little time in 40 public can Be hard to access but doable. I have seen some really good animals but most on private. Good luck !
