If a person hasn't hunted a javelina down in Arizona using a spot and stalk method they haven't had any fun yet. Not to mention that for us in cold climates heading down there in January or February is a great way to warm up.
Not to mention you can then start to build points for other animals since they require a hunting license to purchase points or put in for a draw. I screwed up for years by not buying points or putting in for other animals when I had that hunting license in my pocket, but since then I have had a few great hunts down there that I have drawn.
