The wife and I were able to double up on nice sized Javelina seconds apart here in AZ. Some really good chorizo is about to be made!

Great going, you can't beat doubling up like that. Arizona decided that they didn't want my money this year for a HAM's tag so I'll have to live through others success
How was the deer hunt? I really never saw a buck I wanted to shoot……I’ll wait until August, I guess.

If a person hasn't hunted a javelina down in Arizona using a spot and stalk method they haven't had any fun yet. Not to mention that for us in cold climates heading down there in January or February is a great way to warm up.
Not to mention you can then start to build points for other animals since they require a hunting license to purchase points or put in for a draw. I screwed up for years by not buying points or putting in for other animals when I had that hunting license in my pocket, but since then I have had a few great hunts down there that I have drawn.
