Anyone rent Llamas to hunters on the west side of the state?

Hey guys,

I've rented Llamas in Colorado several times on archery elk hunts and have been happy with them. Looks like I'm going to Montana this year in September and have researched the web trying to locate a place that rents them. I see there is a company in Red Lodge, but I was hoping to find someone in west central Montana ideally. Does anyone know of any potential options? Any help would be appreciated!

Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas in Idaho might be your best bet. I know that isn't in west central Montana but Beau at Wilderness Ridge is the western llama GUY in my opinion. He is located in Idaho Falls, ID which isn't a long stretch from western MT. We actually rent them ourselves (Backcountry Logistics) but we're located in southern Utah/Nevada. Beau has a mature operation with plenty of great packers. I'd at least hit him up and have a conversation about options for getting llamas to you. Good luck!

I used Wilderness Ridge Last year for Eastern Idaho. Not sure if that would work out logistically for you in Montana, but that could be your best bet.
