Airbow Coming to AZ

Looks like thier trying to get the air bow legalized in AZ for archery. I think they need to put it in muzzle-loader season.

In the NV hunting regulations it states "a crossbow is not a bow" and is only legal to use during a "any legal weapon" season. The same will be true of an air bow.
So dirtclod Az. is 100% right.

Bow only for bow season. If they want to be able to use a crossbow or whatever this thing is it should be it’s own season or allowed during the rifle season.

I don't have a dog in this fight, as I am not an archer. BUTthis is just one more thing technology effects. We have drones, smokeless powder muzzle loaders, etc. I am too traditional (another word for old) to be comfortable with this kind of crap. We need to do everything we can to shut this crap down!

How do they classify Air Rifles?They shoot a projectile,and not a bolt.I though I read they were going to make them legal in some states.

That is exactly what the recurve and long bow hunters said when the compounds first came out...in the late sixties. I remember.

I always shot recurve bows.When compound came out,hated them. Now I own 2. wouldn't go back to recurve unless for Javelina/Turkey.Shot 1 crossbow and it was so inaccurate it was scary.Airbow is not something that I think will go over real well.Anybody ever shot one,or know someone who has?

WOW!Iguess it can be used safely and ethically.Now for the laws on where and when it can be used.
