I shot this bull on the second day of the season, around 8:00 A.M. He was hanging out with a few other smaller bulls and he gave me a perfect broadside shot. The 257 Weatherby and 110 AccuBonds dropped him in his tracks at 300 yards. Thank you to my son Kyle and good friend Ramsey for answering their phones and helping me pack it out. The pictures definitely make him look bigger, I am guessing somewhere around 270 - 280"

Thanks everyone, looks like another taxidermy bill! Bleu Bilou the round performed awesome, I couldn't be happier with the way the Accu Bond performed. Good friends and family is what hunting is all about, I'm sure I will get to return the favor to them some day. Gross score on him was 276 1/8, so my guess was fairly close. Good Luck to all that still have tags!

Congratulations on a great bull. I agree, the Weatherby .257 is a great round. Glad you got it done, looks like a great hunt and wonderful memories.

That is a great lookin bull. The .257 Wby is my favorite round. I used it when I went to CO in 2004 for elk. Two of the guys I hunted with told me it was to small for elk. I just wish I could have prooved them wrong. I'm glad you did it for me. Congrats man!
