Where were you stationed burns? I lived and worked in Heerlen, the Netherlands for three years, very close to the AFCENT base. I couldn't wait to move home to hunt and fish again.

I was at a little military post in the southern Germany called Hohenfels. My wife and daughter and I loved it but were very very happy to return to the states.

Awesome Deer!

JMRC is a fun place, been there a couple times on my way over to the box. One year we had a few days after the exercise before heading east again, and we hit Munich and a little town called Coberg during Oktoberfest. We also ate Jaegerschnitzel and drank Heffewisen on the back patio of Hitler's old cabin (The Eagle's Nest) It was an awesome time, except for the hangovers! Love, southern Germany.
