Waiting is killing me-anyone been in the area?

No, have never hunted that unit, kinda waiting to hear your results. The crappy weather has kept me at home working on the deck, otherwise I would be killing ducks. When does your hunt start Makaira?

Opener is the 11 th and that is when we are scheduled but are waiting to hear.Pops drove through coming back from our Montana trip last week and said it looked ****ing cold! Lol

It has a reputation for being crazy cold. I've heard the access can get very difficult as well with snow.

Thats what I have heard also but not sure how much snow they have had.

It's freakin cold now and the snow will start flyin tonight. Always some good animals coming from that area. Not sure on access.

Lets hear it!
I've hunted that area in December and it was a cold windy SOB. It sucks when you have to sit in the wind to glass the areas that are out of the wind. Snow just makes it more fun IMO.
Deer sightings tend to be few and far between so you better move quick if you see a good one.

I have been super busy with real estate and filling in running charter boats but will post pics and story this coming week.We did get one nice one and ate one tag.
